Karen Farmer has a long and varied work experience. Karen began their career in 2007 as a Performer, Teacher, and Administrative Assistant for California Theatre Center. In 2008, they were an Administrative Assistant/Assistant to Chief Customer Officer for KANA Software, Inc. Karen then worked as an Office Manager for the Low Income Investment Fund in 2009, and as a Senior Legal Assistant for Sony Computer Entertainment America in the same year. From 2012 to 2015, they held various roles at DoubleDutch, including Customer Success Manager - Strategic Accounts and Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Zendesk as a Program Coordinator, Customer Success, Program Manager, Customer Education, and Senior Program Manager, Customer Education. Karen then worked as a Senior Manager, Success Program Management Team, Manager, Success Program Management Team, and Senior Program Manager, Customer Success at Outreach from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they have been the Director of Customer Experience at Libro.fm since 2021.

Karen Farmer attended Centre College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre. Karen then attended the University of San Francisco from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their Master of Fine Arts in Writing.
