Uma K. has a diverse work experience across various industries. Uma started their career in 2015 as a RAN Engineer at Ericsson Digital Services, where they worked for two years. Uma then moved to Tata Consultancy Services via Sysnet Global Technologies Pvt Ltd in 2017 and worked as a Project Support Coordinator for three years. In 2020, Uma K. joined the University of Oklahoma as a Research Assistant (Deep Learning, Brain Research) and worked on a thesis titled "A deep learning approach to remove muscle-induced noise from EEG signals". Uma also worked as a Research Assistant (mHealth, Machine Learning) on a project titled "Smoking Cessation Interventions". Uma K. is currently employed as a Research Associate at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development.
