Nicholas Goffeney has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Nicholas started their career as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2002, where they conducted MRI research and contributed to a funded NIH grant. In 2004, they joined Campbell & Company, Inc. as a Senior Research Engineer, focusing on establishing new trading strategies and researching market data. In 2011, they joined Zynga as a Senior Product Manager (Web), collaborating with teams to enhance online products and manage game performance. Nicholas later held roles as a Senior Product Manager (Mobile), Senior Product Manager (User Acquisition/Growth), Lead Product Manager, and ultimately as the Director of Product, Analytics. In 2018, Nicholas joined Facebook as a Data Science Manager, where they built and led a team of Product Data Scientists and Engineers, focusing on AR/VR technologies and product strategy. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Life360 as the Director of Product and Marketing Analytics.
Nicholas Goffeney obtained a B.S. and B.A. in Physics and Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego in 1989-1993. Nicholas then pursued a Ph.D. in Biophysics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1994-2002.
