Lloyd Ian Bibby, PhD

Lloyd Ian Bibby, PhD has a diverse range of work experiences. Lloyd Ian is currently a Business Analyst at Lifescience Dynamics Limited since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at the same company. Their previous roles also include being a Post-graduate Research (PhD Candidate) and Digital Research Services Ambassador at The University of Edinburgh. Additionally, they were involved in the Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) Alumni as a member of a team developing a business plan for a biotechnology innovation. Lloyd Ian also participated in the Product Forge Hackathon and developed a software application for NHS Scotland. During their time at the University of Sydney, they worked as a Research Scientist, conducting statistical analysis on clinical and genomic datasets. Mr. Bibby was the President and Media & Communications Officer of Unicef on Campus, Newcastle University, where they managed fundraising campaigns and oversaw social media content. Lloyd Ian also had an Erasmus Student placement at University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France, conducting research on mechanism of action in HNSCC cell lines. Lastly, they gained industrial placement experience at GlaxoSmithKline and worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Newcastle University.

Lloyd Ian Bibby, PhD has a strong educational background in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Lloyd Ian obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacology from Newcastle University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In pursuit of further specialization, they pursued a Master's degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Newcastle University, which they completed in 2016. Demonstrating their commitment to advancing knowledge and research, Lloyd then earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2020.
