Mark Arce

Mark Arce has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mark is currently working as a Safety Engineer at LTA Research and Exploration since 2021. Prior to that, they were an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Aerotek from 2020 to 2021, where they developed safety and compliance trainings, implemented safety protocols, and conducted respirator trainings. From 2019 to 2020, Mark worked as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Ingenium. Mark was responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and developing safety programs. From 2016 to 2019, they served as an Environmental Compliance Coordinator & Quality Management Representative at CASS, Inc, where they developed safety programs, obtained permits, and complied with local, state, and federal regulations. Mark also has experience in the retail sector, having worked at Best Buy from 2006 to 2016. Mark held roles as a Computers and Lifestyles Lead, overseeing staff and managing inventory, and as an Asset Protection Associate, focusing on protecting company assets. Additionally, Mark has worked as a Hazardous Material Compliance Intern at the County of Santa Clara in 2013, where they ensured compliance with hazardous waste regulations. Mark also worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for the Development of Recycling (CDR) from 2012 to 2013, where they conducted market research and provided customer service. Mark started their career at Paramount's Great America in 1999 as an Area Supervisor, responsible for cash handling, customer service, and managing a large team.

Mark Arce completed an A.A. degree in Sociology from De Anza College from 2001 to 2010. Following this, they attended San Jose State University from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies.
