Sewook Hwang

Sewook Hwang has extensive work experience in the field of analog IC design and chip engineering. Sewook currently serves as an Analog Mixed-Signal Chip Lead Engineer at Lightmatter since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Butterfly Network, Inc. where they held the position of Principal IC Design Engineer from August 2019 to October 2023, and before that, they worked as an Analog IC Designer from May 2016 to August 2019. Sewook Hwang started their career at Korea University, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2015 to April 2016 and as a Graduate Research Assistant from January 2009 to June 2015.

Sewook Hwang earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Korea University in 2015, and previously obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2009.
