Gururaj Putraya

Gururaj Putraya co-founded LightMetrics in 2015, where they developed proprietary technology utilizing computer vision and machine learning to analyze people and cities in motion. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Nokia Mobile Phones from 2009 to 2015. Before Nokia, Gururaj held the role of Member of Technical Staff at Stream Processors, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. Their career began at Aricent in 2003, where they worked as a TL until 2007.

Gururaj Putraya earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mangalore University between 1997 and 2001. Gururaj later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Signal Processing at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 2001 to 2003.
