Jane Alam Jan

Jane Alam Jan is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software engineering and infrastructure development. At BetterOmics since January 2021, Jane is involved in building an AI-driven data platform for the life sciences. Previously at Uber from August 2016 to December 2020, Jane led the map services team, enhancing search capabilities and optimizing pickup locations. At LinkedIn, from September 2013 to August 2016, Jane developed low-latency infrastructure for the Professional Graph. Furthermore, experience includes a software engineering role at Google focusing on search infrastructure, founding and advising LightOJ, and coaching students at AIUB. Educational qualifications include Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Dhaka.
