Rennyo Nakabayashi

Rennyo Nakabayashi is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at Lightsource bp since 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Solutions Manager at Huawei from 2019 to 2021, where focus areas included Smart Energy Solutions and Digital Energy related to Solar PV Inverters. From 2013 to 2019, Rennyo was an Engineering & Business Development Specialist at AES Brasil, concentrating on business development in areas such as energy storage and renewable energy. Earlier positions include roles at Alstom Grid as a System Engineer and multiple positions during the formative years at Photovoltaics Lab (IEE-USP) as an Intern and Undergraduate Researcher. Rennyo holds a Master of Science in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering - Energy and Automation, both from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
