Michael Pickens

Michael Pickens has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael recently joined Lightup Data as a Sales Account Manager in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Purely Cloud starting from April 2015. At Purely Cloud, their role involved providing excellent customer service and implementing secure computing environments. From May 2018 to September 2019, Michael worked at Snowflake, first as a Sales Director and then as a Major Account Executive. Snowflake is known for its Cloud Data Platform that allows organizations to access and analyze their data efficiently. Before Snowflake, Michael was employed as a Regional Sales Manager at ExtraHop between March 2016 and May 2018, where they helped enterprises manage application performance and enhance their infrastructure. Michael also worked as a Territory Account Manager at Arista Networks from April 2015 to March 2016, contributing to the delivery of software-driven cloud networking solutions. Michael's earlier career includes serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy from October 2008 to December 2014 and an Inside Sales role at Apollo Information Systems from February 2007 to July 2008.

Michael Pickens attended San Jose State University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and Philosophy.
