Oscar Estaba

Oscar Estaba's work experience begins with an internship at CGG as a Seismic Processing intern in 2002. Oscar then worked at Shell as a Production Geophysicist in the North Sea Development Team from 2005 to 2011, where they optimized production, completed field development plans, and supported asset acquisitions.

In 2012, Oscar worked at Crescent Petroleum as a Geophysicist advisor for a brief period before joining BP as a Business Advisor for the Castrol Brand under their Future Leaders Program. At BP, they were involved in the business model redesign of the Castrol brand in Europe, leading a change management plan and advising senior executives.

Oscar then moved on to INEOS in 2013, where they initially served as a Senior Exploration Geophysicist. Oscar participated in technical and commercial analysis, advised on exploration license acquisitions, and conducted due diligence for drilling targets. Oscar later became the Lead Exploration Geophysicist, leading a large seismic data acquisition project and overseeing a multidisciplinary assessment of a new conventional field.

From 2018 to 2020, Oscar worked at Berkshire Hathaway Energy as a Lead Geophysicist, providing technical advisory for international assets and contributing to business development strategies, including M&A and Joint Ventures, with a focus on wells in Europe and Asia.

In 2020, Oscar joined Siemens Energy as a Senior Energy Strategy Consultant, reporting directly to the Executive VP Strategy and Marketing. Oscar provided advice and support for Siemens Energy's product lines, improved process efficiency, and supported cost reduction initiatives.

Currently, Oscar Estaba is at Lilac Solutions, Inc. since 2021, where they serve as the Senior Development Manager for Lithium exploration and the Director of Operations for South America.

Oscar Estaba's education history begins in 1997 when they enrolled at Universidad Simón Bolívar. Oscar pursued an Engineer's Degree in Geophysics and completed their studies in 2003.

In 2004, Oscar pursued further education at Imperial College London, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Petroleum Geoscience. Oscar completed this program in 2005.
