Carter Kolbeck has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carter started their career as an Engineering Co-op Student at General Motors in 2008, followed by similar roles at TRIUMF, the Department of National Defense Canada, and the National Research Council Canada. In 2011, they became a Master's Student at the University of Waterloo's Computational Neuroscience Research Group. After completing their studies in 2013, Carter joined Rubicon Project as a Data Scientist, where they worked until 2016. Carter then moved on to Thomson Reuters as a Research Engineer for two years. Since 2018, Carter has been serving as the Machine Learning Lead at Limbus AI.

Carter Kolbeck has a strong education background in engineering. Carter completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electronic Systems Engineering at the University of Regina from 2006 to 2011. Following that, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completing the program from 2011 to 2013.
