Prue Gorman

Prue Gorman has a diverse range of work experience in various legal roles. Prue is currently working as an Associate Legal Counsel at Lime since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Solicitor at Donaldson Law from January 2021 to May 2022, where they represented clients in civil proceedings related to childhood abuse. Prue also negotiated with various institutions to resolve claims in a trauma-informed manner. Prue also worked as a Lawyer at knowmore Legal Service from June 2019 to December 2020, where they provided legal advice and representation to clients regarding compensation options for institutional child sexual abuse. Prue also served as a Paralegal at the same company from July 2018 to June 2019. Prue has experience in business partnerships as well, as they worked as part of a team at Glue and You, a domestic violence startup, where they held the role of Head of Business Partnerships from December 2017 to December 2018. Prue is also experienced in the legal field, having worked as a Senior Legal Assistant (Asbestos) at Slater and Gordon Lawyers from March 2018 to July 2018, and as a Junior Legal Assistant (Criminal Law) from October 2017 to March 2018. Prue started their career as a Customer Service Assistant at ZALA Group from August 2016 to October 2017. Prue also gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at Friends of Nepal Association from January 2016 to October 2016, where they worked on corporate governance, legal research, and drafting contracts. Prue's work at this organization sparked their passion for human rights and taught their to be adaptable and open-minded. Prue also worked as a Secretary at MBP Legal from February 2013 to February 2014.

Prue Gorman completed their high school education at Abbotsleigh from 2007 to 2012. Prue then pursued a Bachelor of International and Global Studies at the University of Sydney from 2013 to 2014. Following this, Prue attended Macquarie University from 2014 to 2018 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Bachelor of Laws, majoring in Politics and International Relations.
