Tim Dafforn

Tim Dafforn has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Tim started their career in 2005 at the University of Birmingham, where they served as a Senior Lecturer in Biophysics until 2012. During their time at the university, they also held the position of Professor from January 2012 onwards. In 2012, Tim became a Co-Founder of Linear Diagnostics Limited, a company they have been involved with since then.

From November 2016 to October 2017, Tim worked as the Chief Entrepreneurial Advisor at the Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy. Prior to that, they were the Chief Scientific Advisor at the Department of Business Innovation and Skills from July 2015 to November 2016.
