Thanassis Bantios

Thanassis Bantios has a strong background in technology and engineering, with a focus on leadership and management roles. Currently, they are working at Vectornator by Linearity as the CTO, where they are leading the development of a design suite using Agile, Devops, and MLOps principles.

Prior to this, Thanassis worked at Beat, first as a Senior iOS developer and later as an Engineering Manager, VP of Engineering, and CTO. In these roles, they oversaw the Engineering organization and ensured the timely delivery of high-quality software. Thanassis also led cross-functional teams, collaborated with product managers, and contributed to the company's vision and execution. Additionally, Thanassis played a key role in significant projects such as app redesigns and the implementation of new services.

Before joining Beat, Thanassis worked as an iOS Developer and Web Developer at Reality Post Productions. Thanassis has a diverse skill set and deep experience in iOS development, including working with Objective C and Swift. Overall, Thanassis has a proven track record in managing engineering teams, delivering successful projects, and leading innovation in the technology sector.

Thanassis Bantios completed their Bachelor's degree in Product and Systems Design Engineering from the University of the Aegean. Thanassis attended this university from 2002 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Piraeus, where they studied from 2008 to 2009.
