Dawud Anyabwile has an extensive work experience in the animation industry. Dawud is currently the Assistant Director of Animation at Lion Forge Animation since 2022. Prior to this, they were the CEO/Creative Director at Big City Entertainment, Inc. from 2007 onwards. In this role, they oversaw the production of the Brotherman: Dictator of Discipline comic book series and also worked as an illustrator and designer for outside book publishers and production studios.

Before joining Big City Entertainment, Inc., Dawud worked at Turner Studios from 2005 to 2014. Initially, they served as a Production Designer, where they designed and illustrated production art for various television and film projects. Dawud was also involved in creating storyboards, character designs, and background designs. Later on, they took on the role of a Pre-Production Artist.

In 1997, Dawud worked as a Character Designer at Klasky Csupo, Inc. where they created original character designs for Nickelodeon shows, including THE WILD THORNBERRYS and THE RUGRATS.

Dawud began their career in 1996 as the Lead Production Designer at Wanderlust Interactive. During their time there, they worked on storyboard character design and background designs for two Pink Panther CD-Rom games.

In 1997, Dawud briefly worked as a Layout Artist at MTV Animation.
