Jonathan Care

Jonathan Care is an experienced advisor currently at Lionfish Tech Advisors since June 2022, previously holding several prominent positions including Senior Director and Analyst at Gartner from January 2015 to June 2022. Jonathan also served as Head of Information Security at Oliver Wyman, Consultant Enterprise Security Architect for the UK Government, and Interim Head of Technology Consulting at Sysnet Global Solutions. With a foundational role at Visa Europe, Jonathan contributed to the "Future of Payments" strategy and implemented security measures, and as the Founder of Lacunae Risk, provided consultancy on reducing information risk and threat management. Additional experience includes leadership in fraud, risk, and compliance at MWR InfoSecurity and forensics at VeriSign. Jonathan holds an M.Eng. in Communication Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a B.Eng. in Electronics and Computer Science from Swansea University.
