Arjuna Upasena

Arjuna Upasena has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role was as the Head of Analytical Platforms at Liontrust Asset Management PLC. Prior to that, they worked as a Portfolio and Data Insight Contractor for the same company. Before joining Liontrust, they had a stint as an Investment Analyst and a Contractual Performance Analyst at AXA Investment Managers. Arjuna also worked as a Specialist Performance Contractor at Schroders. Arjuna's longest tenure was at Nomura Asset Management, where they held various roles including Head of Risk, Quant and Performance as well as Equity Risk & Quant Analyst. Arjuna was also involved in implementing a new performance application, FactSet, during their time as a Performance Analyst. Arjuna began their career at JPM as an Assistant Vice President.

Arjuna Upasena completed their primary and secondary education at Trinity College, Kandy. From 1989 to 1993, they attended the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics. Later, from 1995 to 1997, Arjuna pursued further education at Flinders University, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in International Relations.
