Abhijit Borthakur

Abhijit Borthakur is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in the tea and food industries. Currently serving as the Chief Procurement Officer for LIPTON Teas and Infusions since September 2020, Abhijit previously held various roles at Unilever from March 2003 to September 2020, including Procurement Director for global tea markets and Foods & Refreshment in South Asia. Prior experience includes positions at Hindustan Unilever Ltd, where Abhijit was Senior Procurement Manager and Sales Operations Manager, as well as earlier roles in procurement and sales management at Brooke Bond Lipton. Abhijit holds an M.Sc. in Physics from North-Eastern Hill University.
