Victor Pantano

Founding Director at Liquid Instruments

Victor Pantano has extensive experience in the areas of innovation, technology transfer, and business development. In 2020, they began providing private consulting services in the form of executive management and strategy advice to multiple clients, including several Australian universities and early stage and fast growth technology companies. In 2014, they founded Liquid Instruments, one of Australia's fastest growing companies, which makes all-in-one devices for test and measurement. In 2022, they co-founded SPLAT-maths, a STEM-based educational program for children in preschool, Foundation year, and early primary years. Victor is also an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne and an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Health CRC. From 2002 to 2017, they were the Founder and Director of Soltek, a company that manufactures and distributes catalysts for the water sports and general construction industries. In 2017, they became a Director of Epicorp Pty Ltd, an early stage incubator and investment fund. Victor is also a Director of the Canberra Innovation Network, and from 2015 to 2017, they were the Associate Vice President - Innovation & Strategy and Director - Innovation & Engagement at the University of Canberra.

Victor Pantano has a diverse educational background. Victor attended The Australian National University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Systems Engineering with Honours 1A, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry. In 2001, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering from the same university. In 2018, they completed a Leadership Development Program from Melbourne Business School and a Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in Corporate Governance.
