David G. has over 16 years of professional experience in the tech industry. David started their career in 2004 as a Web Application Developer at Imation. In 2008, they joined Florida Webs as a DevOps/Software Engineer, where they were responsible for provisioning Rackspace client servers, creating and administering MySQL databases, and implementing network resources. In 2014, they became the Team Lead - DevSecOps at Purity Wholesale Grocers, where they led the migration from Magento 1.9 to Magento 2 and was responsible for interviewing and hiring technical staff. David then joined Bang Energy as a Lead Security Engineer in 2016, where they were responsible for implementing and configuring Azure Sentinel SIEM playbooks, fortifying security through the implementation of Conditional Access and 2Factor authentication, and on boarding 2,500+ endpoints to Microsoft Intune MDM and Microsoft Defender. In 2019, they moved to Clarity Software Solutions, Inc. as a Security Lead/DevSecOps Engineer, where they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the security team and all security efforts for the company. In 2021, they joined Sony as a Security Endpoint Engineer - SME - Consultant, where they worked closely with cross functional business units on deployment strategies and creating in-depth documentation. Currently, they are a Lead DevSecOps Engineer at Lirio, where they are responsible for implementing a shift left security posture at all stages of the Dev Ops lifecycle and spearheading the implementation and configuration of Snyk to secure CI/CD pipelines, IDE’s and to scan dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

David G. has an extensive educational background. In 1996, they graduated from Hialeah Senior High School with a High School Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. From 2008 to 2012, they attended American InterContinental University, where they received a Bachelor's in Interactive Media Programmer and an Associates in Arts in Business Management. David also completed a Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS course on Coursera in 2012-2013. In 2020, they earned a Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from edX.
