Carrie Wood has extensive experience in various leadership roles across several companies. Carrie started their career at Terumo BCT as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they successfully improved manufacturing efficiency during a time of economic downturn. Carrie then moved on to Angioslide/Evergreen Research as the Director of Operations, where they oversaw the successful completion of a stent manufacturing line move. Carrie also worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Program Manager, delivering system changes and implementing electronic record solutions. At DaVita, they served as the Director of Process Engineering, leading initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings and improved patient care. Currently, Carrie works at LivaNova, where they have held multiple senior director positions. Their responsibilities at LivaNova include implementing process improvements, leading global teams, and driving strategic marketing efforts.

Carrie Wood completed their education at various institutions. Carrie attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1990 to 1994, where they studied Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. In 2001 to 2002, they pursued Graduate Studies in Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado Denver. Prior to their university education, Carrie Wood attended Bear Creek High School from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in different areas, including data protection, auditing, medical device management, and regulatory affairs.
