Melita Thompson has held a variety of roles in their career. Melita began their professional journey in 2011 as a Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In 2014, they took on the role of Community Assistant for Gamecock Village, where they were responsible for assisting the Manager and providing advice and counsel to the residents. Melita also held the role of Orientation Leader/Coordinator at Jacksonville State University in 2011, providing information and assistance to new students and their families. In 2015, they began working as a Flight Attendant and Operating Experience Evaluator for Delta Air Lines. In 2020, they were hired as a Customer Support Technician Lead at Mailchimp. In 2021, they became a Customer Success Manager at Cameo. Most recently, in 2022, they were hired as a Member Experience Manager for Kindred, a members-only home swapping network.
Melita Thompson attended Jacksonville State University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology.
