Jay Botelho

Jay Botelho has a extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Jay is currently serving as the Head of Packet Capture Analytics Products at LiveAction - Network Performance Management since June 2018. Jay previously worked at Savvius as the Director of Product Management from June 2005 to January 2017 and from June 2005 to April 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Product and Program Management at DeviceScape, Inc. from 2003 to 2005, and Director of Product Management and Product Marketing at Neomar from 2001 to 2003. Jay also worked at Oracle Corporation as a Group Product Manager from 1995 to 1999, and at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Program Manager from 1992 to 1995. Jay started their career as a Senior Engineer at GRiD Computing from 1990 to 1992.

Jay Botelho earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Tufts University between the years 1978 and 1982. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Santa Clara University from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Jay Botelho received a certification as a PMC-I Certified from Pragmatic Institute in December 2022.
