Senko Imamura has worked in a variety of roles in the auction and art industry since 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Assistant to the Secretary General for the China Securitization Forum, where they researched various securitization structures and assisted in translation and editing of legal documents. In 2014, they worked as a Chinese Works of Art Intern at Christie's. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Selkirk Auctioneers & Appraisers as a Specialist in Asian Art and an Intern. During their time at Selkirk, they updated and maintained client files, scheduled consignment appointments, and tracked inventory. In 2017, they worked as an Office Manager at iGavel Auctions, where they invoiced, collected payment, and arranged delivery of items sold. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Clarke Auction as an Asian Art Specialist, where they consigned, cataloged, photographed, and auctioned over 1,000 items of East Asian origin. Lastly, they currently work at LiveAuctioneers as an Account Manager and Client Service Representative, where they create and maintains relationships with clients, liaises between departments, and meets performance KPIs.

Senko Imamura attended the Horace Mann School, Barnard College, and Washington University in St. Louis. Senko received a Bachelor's Degree in East Asian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016. In 2018, they completed the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program at the Appraisal Institute of America and obtained a USPAP Compliant certification from the same institution in July 2018.
