Hélio P.

Hélio P. has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Hélio started their career as a Consultant at VASS, where they worked on building a tool for county offices to file complaints. Hélio then joined Client: PT Inovação e Sistemas as a Web Applications Developer, where they built configuration tools for telecommunication clients.

In 2014, Hélio joined PT Inovação - Altice Labs as a Java Backend Developer, working on a real-time billing tool for telecommunication clients. Hélio also developed an abstraction layer for MongoDB to ensure database transaction integrity.

Hélio then moved to Fuze, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Software Engineer, they worked on a real-time data storage project using MongoDB, Java, Elasticsearch, and Hazelcast. Hélio later became a Software Engineering Manager, leading a team of senior engineers and overseeing architectural design and development.

Currently, Hélio is a Staff Software Engineer at Lively, Inc.

Hélio P. obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer/Information Engineering from Escola superior de tecnologia e de Gestão de Bragança. Hélio completed their education at this institution from 2003 to 2007.
