José Santos

José Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. José is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Lively, Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Urbint as the Vice President of Engineering from September 2021 to October 2022.

José has a significant tenure at Fuze, where they held multiple roles. José started as a Senior Software Engineer in January 2015 and progressed to become the Manager of Software Engineering in May 2017. Later, they served as the Director of Frontend Engineering from October 2017 to March 2020 and then as the VP of Engineering, Clients from March 2020 to September 2021. At Fuze, José led a large team responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's product portfolio across various platforms and applications.

Before joining Fuze, José worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Klink Inc. from October 2014 to January 2015. José also has experience as a Software Engineer at PT Inovação from February 2010 to October 2014, where they developed web user interfaces and worked on a Text-to-Speech API.

José began their career as a Web Developer, working as a freelancer/self-employed from July 2007 to March 2020. During this period, they developed websites and backend management interfaces using technologies like HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, MongoDB, NodeJS, and AngularJS.

José also has a background as an athlete, having worked as an Athlete at Esmoriz Ginásio Clube from September 2014 to March 2020.

Jose Santos attended Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering.
