Vance Strader has had a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies. Vance started their career as a Product Engineer at Parker Hannifin in 1989. From there, they joined Team Losi Inc as a Lead Design Engineer, where they led the design and development of radio controlled racing cars. Vance implemented 3D CAD, FEA, CAM, and in-house CNC machining and designed multiple championship-winning vehicles.

In 1997, Strader moved to Buell Motorcycle Company, where they served as a Lead Project Engineer and later took on the role of acting Manager of Strategic Planning. Vance worked in this position until 2004, contributing to the successful development of various projects.

In the same year, Strader joined Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Manager of Strategic Planning and later became the Director of Special Projects. Vance then took on the role of Director of the Sportster Platform, where they were responsible for all aspects of the Sportster motorcycle platform. Vance chaired the cross-functional platform leadership team and implemented strategies for new productions and product improvements.

Strader continued to progress in their career at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, holding roles such as Sr. Manager of Value Engineering, Chief Engineer of Advanced Motorcycles, and Chief Engineer of System Groups. Vance built and led a team of technical experts, managers, and directors, focusing on motorcycle design, technology development, and new architectures. Vance also led the development of Harley-Davidson's first EV motorcycle, paving the way for the future LiveWire ONE.

In 2021, Strader joined LiveWire as the Head of Design and Technology. In this position, they led the LiveWire division's engineering, portfolio, and design organizations, working on developing the world's best electric motorcycles. Later, they became the Chief Technical Officer, responsible for the overall LiveWire product development, including design, engineering, supply management, and quality.

Throughout their career, Vance Strader has consistently demonstrated their expertise in engineering, design, and leadership, contributing to the development of innovative products in the motorcycle industry.

Vance Strader pursued their education with the first known instance of enrollment occurring between 1985 and 1989. During this period, they attended Loyola Marymount University for their undergraduate studies. Focusing on the field of Mechanical Engineering, Vance Strader successfully earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Vance Strader later expanded their academic journey by enrolling at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. The period between 2003 and 2005 marked their attendance at this institution, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their area of focus during their time at Northwestern University was General Management.

Therefore, Vance Strader holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in General Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
