Russell Galley is CEO, Consumer Relationships, the centre of the Group’s growth strategy to deepen our consumer relationships through personalised experience and outstanding customer service. These relationships are delivered through our core Banking and Savings products delivered through our channels, including around 1,500 branches, the UK’s biggest Digital Bank, telephony, operations teams and supported by our Group capability of our Chief Customer Office.

Immediately prior to his current role Russell was Managing Director, Halifax Community Bank. Responsible for over 8,000 colleagues, 575 branches and 16 million customers, this was the part of the bank he joined over 30 years ago as a cashier in Barnsley.
