Tara Burton

Tara Burton is a seasoned professional in the actuarial and risk management fields, currently serving as a Senior Risk Manager at Lloyds Banking Group since October 2018. Previously, Tara held various leadership roles at Legal & General from September 2007 to September 2018, including Senior Actuarial Audit Manager, Head of Actuarial for Retail Protection, Actuarial Director for Group Protection & Corporate Pensions, and Manager for Group Protection Actuarial Underwriting, among others. Tara's career began at Friends Provident from September 1997 to August 2007, where key roles included Strategic Change Manager and Monthly Reporting Prophet Lead. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University.
