Jenny Song

Jenny Song has over 19 years of professional experience in the field of communications. Jenny began their career in 2002 as an Assistant Editor at Merion Publications. In 2006, they took on the role of Associate Editor of Cancer Today magazine at the American Association for Cancer Research. In 2010, they moved to the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation as Assistant Director of Communications. In 2012, they were promoted to Senior Editor at CancerCare. In 2013, they held both the Director of Communications position at Solving Kids' Cancer, Inc and the Freelance Contributing Writer position at Cancer Today magazine. In 2015, they became the Director, Digital and Web at Cancer Support Community, where they were responsible for driving the organization's digital strategy and fostering a culture of measurement. In 2020, they joined Akoya as the Strategic Communications Lead for DOE's EERE Office and Writer for Defense Health Agency’s Military Health System. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Account Director at LMD.

Jenny Song attended Syracuse University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts in magazine journalism.
