Danielle Leighton

Danielle Leighton has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Danielle started their career as a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Connect Hearing Canada in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Danielle then transitioned into academia and joined the University of Toronto as a Researcher from 2011 to 2012. After that, they worked at Mount Allison University as an Academic Advisor and later as a Database Systems Consultant on a contract basis. From 2013 to 2019, Danielle worked at T4G Limited, where they held positions such as Technical Business Analyst, Data Science Strategist, and finally Director of Data Science. Since 2019, they have been employed at Loblaw Companies Limited. At Loblaw, Danielle has held roles such as Senior Director of AI/ML, VP of Data Science - Health, and currently works as the VP of Healthcare Data Products and Services.

Danielle Leighton received their Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from Mount Allison University from 2004 to 2007. Danielle then went on to earn their Master of Information degree in Information Science/Studies from the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2012.
