Kate Watson-Cole

Kate Watson-Cole has a diverse work experience in strategy and brand development. Kate is currently working as a Strategy Director at Local Projects, where they shape the strategic output of projects and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Strategy Director and a Strategy Director at ERA-co, where they focused on transformative placemaking and partnering with clients to positively impact cities and neighborhoods.

Kate also has experience as an Experience and Brand Strategy Lead at Gensler, where they played a pivotal role in guiding creative teams on large-scale architectural projects and developed deep relationships with clients. Kate worked as a Senior Strategist at Imprint Projects, where they elevated the strategic process and led brainstorming and development sessions with clients.

Earlier in their career, Kate worked as a Senior Producer/Project Manager at Local Projects, an Interactive Producer at Perch Interactive, Inc, and a Production Coordinator at Ralph Appelbaum Associates. Kate also has experience as a Curator & Cultural Producer, where they worked with various clients and performed curatorial assistant research.

Kate's educational background includes being a Graduate Student at NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program. Overall, they have a strong background in strategy, brand development, and experience design, with a focus on transforming spaces and positively impacting communities.

Kate Watson-Cole completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Visual Art from Sarah Lawrence College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Interaction Design at New York University and successfully completed it from 2010 to 2012.
