Shane Hennessey

Shane Hennessey has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), currently serving as a Sr GIS Analyst at Locana since October 2017, following roles as GIS Analyst and GIS Technician. Prior to Locana, Shane worked as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University, where responsibilities included grading, leading discussions, and developing homework material. Additionally, Shane served as a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Public Health, contributing to GIS work for a study in collaboration with Harvard University. Shane's earlier roles at Boston University include Researcher and Lab Assistant, and a background in customer service as Wait Staff at Linden Ponds Hingham. Shane holds a Master of Arts in Remote Sensing and Geospatial Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from Boston University.
