Environmental Attributes Project Manager, LoCI Controls at Loci Controls

Richard Kirby has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Richard started their career as a Rear Detachment Commander in the U.S Army in 2009. Richard later worked as a Chief Marketing Officer at Advanced Internet Technologies, where they managed marketing managers and sales teams, increasing brand awareness and sales. Richard then served as an Analyst at Vector Strategy, assisting with data gathering for webinars and conferences. Kirby also worked as a GIS Analyst at AMEC, conducting spatial analysis for environmental projects. Richard then joined the North Carolina National Guard as a Company Commander, responsible for training and equipment of an armor company. Additionally, they served as a Battle Captain and GIS Manager, conducting spatial analysis for the National Guard using ArcGIS. Kirby worked as a Parks Stewardship Coordinator at Scenic Hudson, overseeing conservation management and developing community relationships. Richard later served in the United States Army as a Civil Affairs Officer, coordinating and planning activities in Central and South Asia. In 2020, Kirby joined the United States Army Reserve as a Unit Administrator, providing administrative support to a Reserve Company. Richard also served as a Battalion Executive Officer. Currently, Kirby is working as an Environmental Attributes Project Manager at LoCI Controls, where they are responsible for managing projects.

From 2016 to 2017, Richard attended Virginia Tech and obtained a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management and Policy.

In 2011 to 2012, Richard pursued a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Penn State University.

Between 2001 and 2005, Richard completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography at Virginia Tech.

Richard's high school education took place from 1997 to 2001 at Marion Senior High School. The degree earned and field of study during this period are unknown.

Apart from their formal education, Richard has also earned several certifications. In October 2017, they completed the Civil Affairs Qualification Course at the U.S. Army. In November 2006, Richard completed the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course, and in April 2006, they obtained the Basic Parachutist Badge. Additionally, they completed the Scout Leaders Course and Armor Officer Basic Course in March and February 2006, respectively. Richard also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in March 1999 through the Boy Scouts of America. Lastly, Richard obtained a certification in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University, World Campus, although the specific month and year are unknown.
