David Kingsley

R&D Project Manager at Locus Biosciences

David Kingsley is currently the R&D Project Manager at Locus Biosciences. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Duke University Medical Center from June 2019 to September 2021. There, they were responsible for designing and engineering a microfluidic device to culture sensory neurons and induce mechanical stimuli and sensitization. David also assessed the potential of novel therapeutics for pain management applications within both in vitro neuronal cultures and preclinical models (mouse and rat). Additionally, David modeled the effects of organ-specific recruitment and hemodynamics on metastasis in microfluidic device.

David Kingsley received their Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and their Bachelors in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well.

They work with Jessica Reedy - R&D Project Manager II, Emily O’Koren - R&D Project Manager III, and Donna Crabtree - R&D Project Manager. Their manager is Ana Sanchez, VP of Research & Development Program Management.
