Amir Mahmoudkhani, PhD

Amir Mahmoudkhani, PhD has an extensive work experience in various industries and research institutions. Amir is currently serving as the VP of R&D and Innovation at Locus Fermentation Solutions since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Technology at Locus Bio-Energy Solutions from November 2021 to March 2022, and Director of Technology from May 2019 to October 2021.

Amir also has experience working at Clariant, where they held several roles including Global Head of Flow Assurance from April 2018 to April 2019, Global Innovation Manager - Emerging Technologies from July 2016 to April 2018, Global Innovation Manager - Well Services Additives from May 2015 to June 2016, and Global Application Development Manager - Stimulation from September 2013 to April 2015. At Clariant, they were involved in developing new and innovative chemistries for hydraulic fracturing and acidizing in oil and gas well stimulation applications.
