Joseph Michell

Joseph Michell has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology and IT services industry. Joseph currently serves as the VP of Managed Services Operations, EMEA & US at Logicalis, where they are responsible for managing the Managed Services team in these regions and developing strategies for delivering IT Managed Services. Prior to this role, Joseph held the position of Director of Operations and IT Services, Latin America at Logicalis Latam from 2017 to 2021. Joseph also served as the Director of Operations at Logicalis Brasil from 2005 to 2016 and held the role of Head of Operations at Logicalis Latam in 2012. Before joining Logicalis, Joseph worked as a Senior Consultant at Promon Engenharia in 2005 and as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Open Communications Security in 2004. Joseph began their career as the Country Division Chief of Information Security at Correios e Telégrafos in 2000.

Joseph Michell has a Master's degree in Business Administration Sloan-Fellow Strategy and Leadership from the London Business School, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Joseph also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, earned from 1996 to 2000. In addition, Joseph has obtained several certifications, including Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Security (CCIE-S) from Cisco in 2007, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from the SANS Institute in 2007, CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in 2003, PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2003, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI Tecnologia in 2002.
