Craig Forrester

Craig Forrester is an experienced professional in the field of information technology and systems administration. Craig has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.

From 1999 to 2000, Forrester worked as a Graphic Designer at Body Electric, Inc. Here, they were responsible for designing e-commerce websites and administering new company ISP.

In 2000, Forrester briefly worked as a Graphic Designer at Microsoft, Inc., specifically for Microsoft Gaming Zone.

From 2001 to 2004, Forrester held multiple roles at William Tyndale College. Craig served as the Chief Information Officer, where they administered college technology policies and planned technological improvements. Craig also worked as an Instructor, teaching classes on Advanced Web Design and Advanced Technologies. Additionally, Forrester served as a Senior Instructional Technologist, overseeing distance learning administration.

From 2004 to 2006, Forrester worked as a Systems Technician at CTS Companies. Their responsibilities included designing and deploying wireless networks and troubleshooting telephone and VoIP systems.

Forrester then joined Electronic Data Systems from 2006 to 2007, where they served as a Systems Administrator and Incident Manager. Craig managed over 400 servers and performed problem and incident management in a structured environment.

From 2007 to 2009, Forrester worked as a Systems Administrator at HP. Craig managed server infrastructures for multiple corporations, deployed and maintained hundreds of systems, and managed global, multi-domain, multi-forest Active Directory environments.

From 2009 to 2017, Forrester held various roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Craig began as a Lead Senior Systems Administrator and later transitioned to a Cloud Administrator role. Craig provided technical support for Windows solutions and played a leading role in global technical steering for Windows-based services.

From 2017 to 2018, Forrester worked at DXC Technology as a Senior Cloud Operations Administrator. Craig engineered, scripted, deployed, and maintained IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms. Forrester also served as a Lead Senior Systems Administrator, overseeing global Windows Server policy and process governance.

From 2018 to 2021, Forrester was employed at RedPoint Global Inc. as a Cloud Data Center Engineer and later as a DevOps Engineer. Craig gained experience in managing cloud infrastructures and deploying DevOps practices.

Currently, starting in 2021, Forrester is employed as a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer at Logicworks.

Craig Forrester earned their Bachelor of Science degree from Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Oakland Community College from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained an Associates degree. In addition to their formal education, Craig has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud Platform, Microsoft Specialist: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - MSCA: Cloud Platform, Microsoft Specialist: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Specialist: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Toshiba Certified Technical Expert (TCTE), NEC Bluefire Network Professional (BNP), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
