Leonardo Lee has been working in the software engineering and analytics field since 2013. Leonardo began their career as a Technology Assistant at Earl Palmer Ministries in 2013, where they led and assessed website redesigns to save money and managed the company's social media account. In 2014, they took on a Contract Software Developer role at PetHub, Inc., where they updated code pre-ARC codebase to post-ARC Objective-C, synthesized proprietary bluetooth technology with iOS iBeacon technology, and developed in-house frameworks. Additionally, they served as a TA for the iOS Developer Accelerator at Code Fellows, assisting fellow students and reiterating concepts covered in class.

In 2015, Leonardo Lee began working at Expedia, Inc. as a Software Development Engineer I, leading meetings and tech spikes, advocating for the use of technology, and implementing performance enhancements. Leonardo then moved to the Associate Software Development Engineer in EPCO role, where they created software for both Internal and Hotelier users, and defined the standard M*V front-end.

In 2020, Leonardo Lee joined Insight Global as a Software Development Engineer - Microsoft (APS). Here, they created open source tools, demos, and tutorials on adopting web components, service workers, and building PWAs, and broke up monolithic software into microservices. In 2021, they began working at AIM Consulting Group as an Analytics Engineer II - Alaska Airlines, where they helped provide user signatures for combining user journeys across a broad spectrum of legacy and modern applications, created a custom Tealium integration for a custom implementation of Snowplow tagging, and developed a high performance Playwright test runner to test analytics implementations. Leonardo currently works at Logixboard as a Software Engineer in Data Acquisition.

Leonardo Lee's education history includes a Certificate in Computer Science Fundamentals from Seattle University (2022-2023), an iOS Development Accelerator from Code Fellows (2014), and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Washington (2009-2013), one in Philosophy and one in Comparative Religion. Leonardo also holds an Application Security and Secure Coding Training in Java certification from Codebashing (obtained in June 2018).
