Brian Emond

Brian Emond, CISSP, has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Brian started their career in 2002 as a Network Services Technician in the United States Air Force, where they provided network security services and maintained network resources for over 5,400 Department of Defense users. In 2005, they joined Harris Corporation as an Information Systems Security Engineer, responsible for ensuring the security framework of a large-scale government infrastructure. Brian later became the Supervisor of the Security Operations Control Center, managing day-to-day operations and delegating tasks to security analysts.

In 2010, Brian joined Tasc as a Network Security Architect, where they led a team in providing secure network design and configuration for the USMC PM Training Systems. Brian also performed security assessments and delivered secure solution architectures.

Since 2012, Brian has been with LogRhythm, where they have held various roles. Brian started as a Federal/Florida Sales Engineer and then progressed to the Director of Sales Engineering for the East and Public Sector. In 2021, they became the Senior Director of Sales Engineering for the Americas, and as of July 2022, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Solutions Engineering.

Brian Emond, CISSP, graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an Associate's Degree in Information Systems Management in 2004. Brian then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, completing it in 2007. Continuing their education, Brian obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology - Information Security from Capella University in 2010.
