Nagarjuna Cherivirala

Nagarjuna Cherivirala has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position was as the Head of Operations at Lokal, a company they joined in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee) from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for formulating campaign strategies and managing a team of 10 members. Nagarjuna also gained experience in data analysis and stakeholder management.

In 2016, Nagarjuna worked as a Summer Intern at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, where they conducted research on biomineralization processes and performed laboratory experiments using scanning electron microscopy and other analytical techniques.

Before that, they held the position of Coordinator at Prithvi, where they were in charge of planning and executing the Annual Symposium of the Department of Geology and Geophysics at IIT Kharagpur. Nagarjuna also served as the Secretary of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) during the same period.

Nagarjuna's work experience also includes a Summer Trainee position at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where they gained hands-on experience in petroleum exploration and studied various aspects of basin analysis and well logging.

In 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern at CSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, where they performed coal characterization tests and blended coals for carbonization studies.

Their earliest work experience was as an Executive Member at Prithvi, where they played a crucial role in organizing an annual festival and managing participant reception and accommodation.

Throughout their work experience, Nagarjuna has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, project management, and stakeholder coordination.

Nagarjuna Cherivirala completed their Integrated MSc in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Vijayawada from 2009 to 2011 for their Class 12 education. Nagarjuna's high school education took place at M K Gandhi Concept School from 2006 to 2009.
