Tom Valerio

CEO/President at Loki Labs

Tom Valerio has extensive work experience, beginning in 2008 when they were an Information Systems Security Planner for the United States Air Force. Tom then worked as a Tactics and Capabilities Planner for the Joint Functional Component Command for Network Warfare in 2009, followed by Deputy Chief, Knowledge Operations for the United States Air Force in the same year. In 2010, they became the Chief, Cyber Operations Support for USCYBERCOM, and in 2012 they took on the role of Program Manager for KEYW Corporation. Later in 2012, they became the Technical Director for the United States Department of Defense. In 2014, they worked as a Cyber Warfare Systems Engineer for Minuteman Group LLC, followed by a role as Strategic Planner for the Dept Of The Army in 2015. Finally, in 2018 they became a Senior Functional Analyst for Scientific Research Corporation, and in 2019 they assumed the role of CEO/President for Loki Labs.

Tom Valerio has a comprehensive education history. Tom obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 1998-1999. Tom also obtained an AAS in Instructor of Technology and Military Science from the same institution in 1998-2000. Tom then earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Colorado Christian University in 1999-2001. Finally, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Phoenix in 2001-2004. In addition, they hold a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2.
