David Lapierre

David Lapierre has a solid background in the financial industry, with experience in both credit research and analysis. David started their career at KeyBank in 1999 as a Credit Analyst, where they focused on commercial credit analysis, structuring, and relationship management for middle-market corporate lending relationships. David also completed KeyCorp's Credit Management Associate Training Program during this time. In 2005, Lapierre joined KeyBanc Capital Markets as an Associate, where they gained further industry knowledge. In 2007, they moved to Loomis, Sayles & Company as a Vice President and Credit Research Analyst. In this role, they provided fundamental credit research coverage for non-bank finance companies, automotive manufacturing, and various other sectors across investment grade and high yield markets. David has experience analyzing different types of debt instruments and distressed situations. Throughout their career, Lapierre has demonstrated expertise in credit research and analysis, making him a valuable asset to any financial organization.

David Lapierre completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maine in the years 1995 to 1999. David later pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, David obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute in September 2012, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder from the CAIA Association in November 2018, and the UniFi by CAIA™ Private Debt Microcredential from the CAIA Association in June 2023. David also holds certifications such as the Series 63- Uniform Securities Agent and the Series 7- General Securities Representative, both from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), although the dates of acquisition for these certifications are unknown.
