Michael Meyer has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career in 1994 as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Michael then worked at Standard Bank of South Africa as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director of the Retail Bank from 1996 to 1997. Michael returned to McKinsey & Company in 1999 as an Associate and stayed with the company until 2002.

In 2002, Michael joined Citadel LLC as an Analyst and worked there until 2006. During this time, they also briefly worked at Amaranth as an Analyst in 2006. In the same year, they moved to Liberty Harbor - Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Vice President, a position they held until 2008.

At Perella Weinberg Partners, Michael served as a Senior Analyst and the COO of the Asset Based Value Strategy from 2008 to 2016.

In 2016, they started their own company, ME Meyer Consulting, LLC, where they worked as an Independent advisor to Asset Based Value funds for the entire year.

Most recently, they joined Loomis, Sayles & Company in 2017 as a Vice President and subsequently became a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director in March 2022.

Michael Meyer attended Princeton University from 1990 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Operations Research. Michael then pursued further education at Harvard Business School from 1998 to 1999, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In addition to their educational background, Michael Meyer holds certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (obtained institution and year unspecified) and has completed the Series 7, 63, 79, and 24 certifications through FINRA (obtained institution and year unspecified).
