Ellen Wied

Director, Group-Based Intensives at Lorenz Clinic

Ellen is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and board approved supervisor with the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. She received her Master’s degree in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University for Mental Health Counseling. Ellen works with children, adolescents, and young adults in person at the Chaska office as well as Telehealth. In addition to her clinical practice, she also serves as Director of Group-Based Intensives.

Ellen enters the therapeutic relationship with compassion and care using a person-centered approach to meet clients where they are at in their healing journey. She has experience working in various levels of care and intensity as a clinician and a leader. Ellen uses evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adapted Dialectal Behavior Therapy in her practice. She also uses a Multi Systems lense in understanding her clients, their families, and their community.
