Megan Malaski

Megan achieved her master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and has her Bachelor’s degree from Wartburg College.

In her practice, Megan strives to create a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental environment. Megan takes a holistic approach to psychotherapy when it comes to working with individuals. Megan uses a strength-based and goal-oriented framework. Megan believes that each individual has a story that is worth being listened to and nobody should have to go through chapters alone. By meeting clients where they are at Megan provides a compassionate, caring, and understanding space so individuals are able to express and process their experiences.

Megan has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults particularly those with co-occurring diagnoses. She has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and or substance use disorders. Using her experience, Megan also works from multiple theoretical frameworks depending on the individual. Most commonly incorporating Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and Dialectical behavioral therapy. Megan welcomes people into a safe, warm and genuine space hoping to fulfill and give people the support they are seeking.
