The 2020 season marks Daniel August's sixth season with the Los Angeles Rams.
As vice president of strategy and ticketing, August is involved with key strategic initiatives and oversees various aspects of ticketing and the game day experience. Areas of focus include ticketing strategy, planning, analytics, and operations, in addition to guiding the Rams premium ticketing experience, season ticket member benefits and gameday experience.
In his first three seasons with the Rams, August focused on key business ventures and major strategic initiatives for the club, which included ticketing strategy and planning, gameday experience, concessions, digital media, consumer products, and analytics.
Prior to joining the Rams, August worked for the NFL league office in New York City for eight years. Over his final two years, he served as head of strategic marketing and planning, after working for six years in finance, the last as director of Financial Planning & Analysis. During his tenure at the NFL headquarters, August served on major projects, including the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), NFL Ticket Exchange, apparel and e-commerce deals, International Series expansion, Veteran Combine, NFL Newborn Fan Club, and Pro Bowl.
Before entering the sports arena, August served as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley.
August received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College in 2007, and a Master in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2014.
