Joani Etskovitz serves as the Founding Director of the Literary Careers Program at the English Department, which assists humanities students in pursuing rewarding employment. Currently a doctoral student and teaching fellow at Harvard University, Joani also works as a freelance writer for the Los Angeles Review of Books and as a tutor for Cambridge Coaching, where support is provided to students in English literature, French, and study skills. Additional experience includes roles at Harvard Library, where responsibilities involved curation and outreach for exhibitions, and serving as a research and pedagogy fellow for the PBS series "Poetry in America." Joani's educational background includes a PhD in English Literature from Harvard University, an MA in British and European History, and a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Oxford, as well as a BA in English Language and Literature from Princeton University.
