Katie Fernandez-Fillingame has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Katie is currently serving as the Director of Sales Projects for Entertainment & Lifestyle at the Los Angeles Times since January 2022. Before that, they owned their own business, Fillingame Consulting LLC, since September 2010.

In their previous roles, they worked as the Executive Director of Audience Development & Circulation at The Hollywood Reporter & Billboard from January 2016 to December 2020. Katie's early career included roles at The Hollywood Reporter, where they held positions as the Audience Marketing Director from October 2006 to August 2010, Associate Audience Marketing Director from January 2003 to October 2006, and Circulation Marketing Manager from October 2000 to January 2003.

Before their time at The Hollywood Reporter, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Disguise from December 1999 to August 2000.

Katie Fernandez-Fillingame (She/Her) earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Psychology from San Diego State University between 1989 and 1993. Katie also obtained a certification in Google Ads Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2021.
